CARVER YOUTH MATINEE SERIES

The Carver Youth Matinee Series is dedicated to bringing the excitement and stimulation of these free arts programs into the lives of young people and the community. Educational studies show that the arts are a vital component of a student's education. When students have experience in the arts, scores are higher on standardized tests; they excel in reading, writing, math and self-esteem.

Matinee's are held at the Carver Community Cultural Center, 226 N. Hackberry Street, San Antonio, Texas 78202. Beginning at 11:00 am ending at 12:00 pm on the dates assigned. Call 207-2234 to register for these free performances.
